Job Role : State Operation Head / Zonal Operation Head

Company: SolarSquare (Rooftop Solar EPC)

1. Operations Management:

- End-to-end management of rooftop solar projects within the assigned zone

- Ensure timely execution from sales handover to commissioning

- Coordinate with Project Coordinators, Site Engineers, and Vendors

2. Project Execution & Monitoring:

- Track project timelines, milestones, and daily progress

- Resolve site-level issues related to material, manpower, or customer concerns

- Ensure projects are delivered within defined SLA/TAT

3. Quality & Safety Oversight:

- Ensure installation quality as per SolarSquare standards

- Monitor safety compliance at all sites

- Coordinate with Quality / Audit teams for inspections and closures

4. Team & Vendor Management:

- Lead and manage zonal operations team

- Onboard, monitor, and evaluate EPC partners and vendors

- Conduct regular reviews, training, and performance feedback

5. Customer Experience:

- Ensure smooth customer journey post-sale

- Handle escalations and ensure high customer satisfaction

- Coordinate with Customer Support and CRM teams

6. Compliance & Approvals:

- Ensure statutory approvals, net-metering, and utility coordination

- Maintain proper documentation and compliance records

7. Reporting & MIS:

- Share daily/weekly MIS on project status, backlog, and closures

- Track KPIs such as installation TAT, quality scores, and CSAT

- Escalate risks and delays proactively

8. Cost & Resource Optimization:

- Optimize material usage, manpower deployment, and logistics

- Control operational costs while maintaining quality

9. Cross-Functional Coordination:

- Work closely with Sales, SCM, Finance, Quality, and CRM teams

- Expertise in solar technology & rooftop systems

- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Prior experience with operational monitoring software/tools

Technical (Good-to-Have):

- Experience in large C&I rooftop solar projects

Travel & Accommodation:

- Daily in-city travel required (own two-wheeler mandatory)

- Occasional intercity travel based on project needs

- Must arrange own accommodation
