Role Overview:

The Associate Director of Sales for Uttar Pradesh will be responsible for leading and expanding Solar Square's sales operations within the region. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing a high-performing sales team, and driving revenue growth through effective business development initiatives. The Associate Director will collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution and achievement of business objectives, ultimately contributing to Solar Square's mission of providing accessible and sustainable energy solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for Uttar Pradesh, aligning with overall company goals and market opportunities, to achieve targeted revenue growth and market share.

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, training, and performance management to maximize individual and team productivity.

- Manage the P&L for the UP region, ensuring profitability and efficient resource allocation to optimize sales performance.

- Identify and pursue new business development opportunities, including strategic partnerships and key account acquisition, to expand Solar Square's customer base.

- Conduct thorough market analysis and competitive intelligence gathering to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, informing strategic decision-making and sales planning.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, channel partners, and government agencies, to enhance Solar Square's brand reputation and market presence.

- Oversee the sales planning process, including forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation, to ensure efficient and effective sales operations.

- Monitor sales performance against targets, analyze key metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure achievement of sales objectives.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies that drive revenue growth and market share expansion.

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and manage a high-performing sales team.

- Strong understanding of P&L management and financial principles, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed business decisions.

- Excellent business development skills, with a proven track record of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.

- 7-10 years of experience in sales, with a significant portion in a leadership role, preferably within the renewable energy or related industry.
