Role Overview:

Were looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Product Sourcing Manager to support our NPD (Furniture) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and onboarding the right vendors, ensuring timely development of prototypes, managing cost negotiations and supporting the launch of new furniture products in collaboration with designer, QA, marketing and supply chain teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new furniture vendors aligned with SleepyCats quality and cost standards.

- Collaborate with furniture designers to understand materials, components and samples for new furniture products.

- Manage prototype development, cost sheets and BOM (Bill of Materials) with vendors.

- Conduct market and material research to identify new trends, finishes and sustainable options.

- Negotiate pricing, lead times and MOQs with suppliers to optimize cost and speed to market.

- Coordinate with QA, design and operations teams for product testing, final approvals, and production readiness.

- Track and report sourcing performance, timelines and vendor deliverables for NPD projects.

- Maintain accurate vendor databases, costing records and documentation.

Requirements:

- 4-8 years of experience in furniture sourcing, vendor management or NPD (preferably in D2C or retail brands).

- Strong understanding of materials, furniture construction and finishing processes.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to multitask and manage timelines in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets and sourcing documentation.
