Site Director - Civil/Infra

POSITION PURPOSE:

- Lead the site technical services team including projects, civil, infrastructure, maintenance team in ensuring right standards are understood, implemented without non-compliance

- Steer the investments in line with global directives towards meeting business goals.

Reliability/maintenance of assets

- Define reliability strategy, critical asset strategy and the maintenance plan

- Govern the inventory management and ensures that right level of inventories/spares are maintained

- Define the reliability and maintenance KPIs

- Takes responsibility in selection of right technical asset

- Accountable for the effective implementation of maintenance plan and ensures that best practices are followed

- Monitor the KPIs and be part of continuous improvements in terms of identifying and eliminating the recurring breakdowns

- Ensures all legal regulations are complied

- Ensure that correct legal regulations/directives/standards are established and followed across all plants

- Develops a predictive maintenance culture and ensure that best practices of maintenances are followed

- Steer the execution of various capex investment in the site in line with global directives to meet business goals

- Responsible to allocate the right resources depending on the complexity of the projects

- Be a role model in building up a safety culture within the region

- Set up relevant measures within the project team to be compliant with local regulations

- Actively pursue people development by providing opportunities and trainings

- Partner with experts in pursuing our sustainability goals by taking tangible targets

- Taking ownership in delivering business goals both in terms of safety, schedule and costs

- Setting up measurable goals for the site engineering team and enabling to achieve those broader

goals

- Plays a key role in bringing seamless collaboration between the various stakeholders

- Defines customer critical projects and takes additional interests in delivering those committed projects.

- Ensure compliance and hence no critical/major audit observations/findings

Work relations:

- Site Manager: Reporting to Site Manager, regular communication and aligning on site objectives and Priorities

- Production heads: Aligning production priorities

- Procurement head: Devising the right procurement and contracting strategy

- Head of Safety and Environment: Establishing the safety and sustainability objectives and standards

- Head of Site services: Liaising with contractors and authorities

- Steering committee members: Communicating and taking guidance on specific topics

- Global Engineering head/site support: Regular communication for different progress

WHO YOU ARE:

- At least 12+ years of experience in project management and capex investments in comparable industry

- Has a strong leadership and interpersonal skills

- Excellent communication ability

- An experience in capex projects from concept to commissioning will be an added advantage
