About the Role:


We are looking for a proactive and business-aligned Legal Manager to play a key role in supporting our pan-India operations. This is a high-visibility position that directly contributes to deal closures, risk management, and the company's long-term legal strategy. The role involves handling a wide range of agreements - with both landlords and the company's clients - and requires strong expertise in real estate contracting, stakeholder management, and solution-oriented legal advisory.

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-End Contracting:

- Draft, review, and negotiate critical commercial documents - including landlord-facing agreements (lease deeds, leave & license contracts, surrender deeds) and client-facing agreements (LOIs, service agreements, NDAs, renewal and amendment agreements, etc.).

Deal Enablement:

- Partner with leasing and business teams to support deal structuring and closure, ensuring that legal terms align with commercial objectives across both landlord and client contracts.

Dispute & Risk Management:

- Coordinate with external counsel to manage litigation, prepare due diligence reports, and mitigate legal risks in pre-dispute situations.


- Provide actionable legal insights to protect business interests.

Lease Tracking & Lifecycle Monitoring:

- Proactively track lease expiries, renewals, notice periods, and lock-in milestones to support business continuity and timely legal action.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Liaise regularly with senior management and internal teams, offering legal input and updates on contract statuses, risk exposures, and strategic implications.

Governance & Reporting:

- Maintain a central legal dashboard summarizing key legal and commercial terms across agreements.


- Ensure documentation is audit-ready and compliant with regulatory and internal policies.

Candidate Profile:

- Education: LLB from a reputed institute (mandatory); CS qualification is an added advantage

- Experience: 4-8 years in real estate, commercial leasing, or managed office operations

Skills:

- Strong drafting and contract negotiation capabilities

- In-depth knowledge of contract and property law

- Proven experience managing agreements with both landlords and clients

- Ability to independently track lease expiries and contractual timelines

- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

- Commercially aware with a balanced legal risk approach
