Shingora - Manager - Research & Development

Role: As the Head of Research & Development and Product Development, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented technicians, and designers to develop cutting-edge technical textile solutions.

You will be at the forefront of identifying new market opportunities, developing innovative products, and driving the commercialization process.

Responsibilities:.

- Lead the development and execution of the research and development roadmap, aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

- Manage and motivate a team of researchers, engineers, and designers, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.

- Oversee the development of new weaving, printing, coating, and finishing technologies.

- Manage the product development process, from concept to commercialization.

- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in textile technology and science.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and research institutions.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:.

- Masters in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in research and development and/or product development, within the technical textiles industry.

- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing research teams.

- Strong understanding of weaving, printing, coating, and specialized finishing technologies.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

- Ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans.

- Demonstrated experience in securing funding and managing budgets.

- Passion for innovation and a strong desire to make a positive impact.
