
Job Summary: Own and scale Shemaroo's talent acquisition strategy to fuel business growth across Creative, Technology, Digital, Sales, Marketing, and corporate functions. Build a high-performing TA function that delivers on speed, quality, and employer brand while championing candidate and hiring manager experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. TA Strategy & Leadership
- Design and execute Shemaroo's talent acquisition strategy aligned to business plans, including annual manpower planning and budgeting signed off in the AOP
- Build, mentor, and lead a team of recruiters across level of hiring.
- Establish TA metrics: time-to-hire, source mix, offer acceptance rate, quality of hire, and diversity targets.
- Drive data-led decisions
2. Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with CXOs and BU Heads to forecast talent needs and create proactive pipelines for critical/niche roles.
- Act as advisor to hiring managers on market trends, comp benchmarks, talent availability, and assessment design.
- Drive hiring manager enablement to improve interview quality and reduce cycle time.
3. Employer Branding & Talent Attraction
- Own Shemaroo's employer brand across LinkedIn and industry forums. Position Shemaroo as an employer of choice in Media & Tech
- Build differentiated sourcing channels: passive talent networks, employee referrals, agencies, campus, and digital platforms.
4. Process Excellence & Innovation
- Drive adoption of AI/tools for sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement
- Implement structured interviewing, scorecards, and bar-raiser programs to ensure hiring quality
5. Niche & Leadership Hiring
- Personally drive CXO, P&L, and business-critical leadership mandates
- Build talent mapping and succession pipelines for creative, digital, and tech leadership roles
- Present monthly/quarterly dashboards to CHRO and leadership on TA performance
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in HR, Business administration, or a related field
- 12-15 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition (media and entertainment background preferred)
- Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of HR professionals.
- Experience with ATS and process transformation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
