Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Sales Leader to spearhead sales operations in Eastern India for container glass products. The role requires deep B2B experience, preferably in dealing with large-scale customers like FMCG, pharma, liquor, and beer companies. The ideal candidate will drive revenue, customer acquisition, and long-term contract management while optimizing capacity utilization and pricing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for container glass products in line with business goals.
- Identify and penetrate new markets, customers, and product segments to expand the company's footprint.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries (FMCG, pharma, liquor, beer).
- Lead the product development and approval process with customers, ensuring seamless onboarding and satisfaction.
- Drive negotiations and secure long-term sales contracts with major customers.
- Manage commodity product pricing, cost dynamics, and capacity utilization to ensure profitability.
- Collaborate with production, inventory, R&D, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment between demand and supply.
- Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock management and order fulfillment.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to provide strategic market intelligence.
- Generate regular reports on sales performance, revenue trends, and customer feedback.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate in Engineering / Marketing / Business; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 20 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in container glass, packaging, or similar industries.
- Proven success in developing and managing large accounts and long-term contracts.
- Experience in product approval cycles, customer development, and after-sales support.
- Must have experience in the glass container manufacturing industry.
- Established network within FMCG, pharma, liquor, and beer sectors is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with export market operations will be a plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Eastern India.
