Senior Vice President - Cyber Security - BFSI

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute the Cyber security vision, managing day-to-day security operations for zero-downtime trading infrastructure.

- Oversee threat detection, incident response & recovery and Cyber Resilience

- Ensure compliance with Indian regulations (SEBI, RBI, DPDP Act) and international frameworks (like NIST, ISO), leading proactive assessments and audits and publishing Cyber dashboards for leadership.

- Build and lead a high-performing cybersecurity team, aligning with Enterprise priorities and integrating security into IT/Operations, at design stage.

- Drive Automation of Cyber security operations across the enterprise

- Establish Secure AI governance and risk controls for emerging technologies and advising the CISO/CTOs on emerging threats.

- Liaise with regulators, peers and internal stakeholders for Cyber crisis preparedness and Cyber resilience drills

- Track and report Cyber security and resilience metrics to Exchange leadership and important stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience:

- 25+ years in cybersecurity with 8+ years in senior roles reporting to CISO/CTO in BFSI, Capital markets or critical infrastructure.

- Demonstrated success operationalizing strategies for protecting financial entities, Stock exchanges or high-velocity systems.

- Expertise in SEBI Cyber Security Framework, DPDP Act, NIST CSF, ISO 27001/27701 and advanced Threat mitigation.

- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or equivalent; certifications (CISSP/ CISM/ CRISC) is preferred.

- Strong partnership skills for thriving in a CISO-led structure, with experience in executive communications and presentations.
