Job Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategic Vision:
- Develop & implement a shared vision & strategic direction align with our institutional goals.
- Foster cross-divisional collaboration to address sustainability challenges
- Integrate AI-enabled approaches to strengthen research planning, analytics & impact assessment.
Business Development & Resource Mobilization:
- Lead business development initiatives to expand project portfolios across agriculture, energy & land resources.
- Identify new funding opportunities from Govt. agencies, multilateral organizations, CSR foundations and international donors.
- Build revenue pipelines and ensure achievement of annual revenue targets
- Develop strategic proposals, concept notes and partnerships to enhance institutional growth
Partnerships & Networking:
- Establish & nurture high-value partnerships with government bodies, development agencies, private sector entities & international organizations.
- Represent us in strategic forums, policy discussions and industry platforms
- Leverage networks to enhance collaborative research, consulting assignments & funded programs.
AI Integration & digital Enablement:
- Promote the use of AI tools for data analytics, predictive modelling, sustainability assessments and decision support systems
- Encourage adoption of AI driven dashboards, automation tools and research analytics platforms
- Support team in leveraging AI for proposal development, impact tracking & knowledge dissemination.
Review Planning & Financial Oversight:
- Formulate & monitor revenue plans with Area convenors & Associate Directors
- Ensure financial sustainability through budget oversight & performance monitoring
- Oversee technical & financial compliance of projects
Research & Impact Innovation:
- Translate divisional priorities into high impact, outcome driven research programs
- Encourage innovation at the intersection of sustainability & technology
Operational Coordination & Communication:
- Lead monthly divisional meetings
- Ensure transparent communications & efficient operational management
- Drive inter-divisional synergy & institutional alignment
Visibility & Dissemination:
- Promote the centers work at national & international forums
- Ensure effective dissemination of research findings, policy briefs and technical outputs
- Strengthen our brand positioning in sustainability and development sectors.

Educational Qualification: Masters/Ph.D or equivalent advanced degree in Agriculture/Energy/ Environmental Science/ Land Resources or related fields.
Experience:
- 15+ Years of relevant experience with a demonstrated track record of leading high impact projects
- Proven experience in Business Development & revenue generation
- Experience working with international development organizations, government bodies, research institutions or multilateral agencies.
- Familiarity with AI tools, data analysis platforms & digital research methodologies is highly desirable
