We are looking one candidates with one of our leading client into diverse range of food and other product looking for a dynamic food technologist for the role of "Manager -R&D and NPD"
The incumbent will be responsible for heading R&D and NPD processes, from ideation to commercialization, ensuring alignment with market trends, regulatory standards, and business objectives.
Required Skill Set:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the NPD strategy for food products, including staple and specialty products, aligning with organizational goals and market trends.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of product development, including formulation, processing, packaging, and certifications, ensuring compliance with relevant food safety and quality standards.
- Foster a culture of innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement within the NPD team, focusing on enhancing nutritional value, export readiness, and production efficiency.
- Build a robust pipeline of health-conscious, organic, and specialty-based products while integrating sustainable practices into the development of staple and other food products
New Product Development:
- Lead the ideation, formulation, and development of new food products, ensuring they meet consumer preferences and export requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, production, sales, and regulatory) to align product development with market needs and achieve successful launches.
- Establish robust lab-to-market processes, including prototype development, market testing, and scaling to production.
- Drive the use of innovative ingredients and processes to enhance product quality, differentiation, and export potential.
Research and Innovation:
- Set up and manage advanced NPD laboratories, ensuring state-of-the-art facilities for product development, testing, and quality assurance.
