Designation : Senior Manager - People & Talent
Job Location : BKC, Mumbai ( Hybrid, 3 days from office )
Role and Responsibilities
- Global Recruitment: Build and Optimize the Talent Pipeline
- Design and implement a system for attracting and retaining A-players globally.
- Drive initiatives to increase the quality and quantity of the candidate pipeline.
- Lead employer branding efforts to position Handelnine Global as an employer of choice.
- Scaling Up Implementation
- Program Manage the ongoing implementation of the Scaling Up framework across theorganization, participating in all L1 (Leadership) and L2 meetings.
- Collaborate closely with department heads each quarter to identify A/B/C players in their teams and take appropriate action (development plans, team reshuffles, etc.).
- Employee Engagement and Retention
- Own and drive improvement in the eNPS (Employee Net Promoter Score), ensuring an upward trend each quarter.

- Develop and lead engagement programs for a predominantly remote workforce to boost retention, motivation, and cohesion.
- Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee the design and management of competitive compensation and benefits programs that align with company goals.
- Ensure a balance between cost-efficiency and maximizing employee value.
Requirements:
- Experience: The ideal candidate has 8-12 years of experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in ecommerce, tech, or consumer-driven industries. Experience in working with remote, global teams is a strong plus.
- Program Management Skills: Proven experience managing the implementation of organizational frameworks such as Scaling Up, OKRs, or other strategic initiatives, along with the ability to act as a program manager across multiple levels of leadership (L1 and L2).
- Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills and experience with metrics such as eNPS or other employee satisfaction tools. Capable of using data to drive decisions, track progress, and improve employee engagement and retention.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Capable of influencing and collaborating with senior leadership and stakeholders across global teams. Adept at building strong working relationships in a predominantly remote environment.
- Cultural Fit: Demonstrated experience fostering a company's core values, such as Action Bias, Solution Ownership, and Efficiency. The ability to instill these values across the organization and lead by example.
- Employer Branding & Recruitment: Expertise in global recruitment and building a strong employer brand that attracts and retains A-players, with proven experience in managing employer branding initiatives and sourcing high-quality talent pipelines.
- Agility & Innovation: Experience working in fast-paced environments (e.g., startups or rapidly scaling businesses). Ability to experiment, adapt, and implement new best practices, tools, or frameworks that enhance employee engagement and performance.
- Ownership Mindset: Demonstrates a high degree of ownership over HR initiatives and the Scaling Up implementation, with a result-focused approach and the ability to work independently with accountability.
