Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Legal Manager with strong expertise in real estate law to oversee and manage all legal aspects of property transactions, compliance, and dispute resolution. The ideal candidate will bring over 9 years of experience in real estate legal practice, with a proven track record of advising on complex property matters, drafting and negotiating contracts, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate lease agreements, sale deeds, joint venture agreements, and other real estate contracts.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to RERA, land acquisition laws, municipal regulations, and other applicable statutes.
- Due Diligence: Conduct title verification, property due diligence, and risk assessments for acquisitions and investments.
- Litigation & Dispute Resolution: Manage and coordinate with external counsel on property disputes, arbitration, and litigation.
- Advisory: Provide strategic legal advice to management on real estate projects, land use, and development.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and external legal advisors.
- Policy & Governance: Develop internal policies and frameworks to mitigate legal risks in real estate transactions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- LL.B/LL.M from NALSAR University of Law (mandatory).
- Minimum 9 years of post-qualification experience in real estate law.
- Strong knowledge of property laws, RERA, land acquisition, and corporate governance.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex transactions.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
