
Job Description Summary:
Primary Job responsibilities:
- We are looking for a proactive and experienced Senior Manager with a strong background in real estate laws to join our client in the commercial real estate industry.
- The ideal candidate must over 10 years of experience handling lease agreements, land sale and purchase transactions, litigations, legal notices, M&A transactions, vendor contracts, and government approvals.
- Prior experience in a reputable law firm and as an in-house counsel and an ability to work across diverse legal and compliance matters are highly preferred.
- Draft, review, and negotiate lease agreements, sale deeds, vendor contracts, financing agreements and other commercial contracts.
- Manage and advise on legal notices, litigations and dispute resolution and regulatory issues.
- Ensure timely government approvals, regulatory compliances, and liaison with authorities.
- Support land acquisition, leasing, project financing and due diligence processes across multiple projects.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks across business operations.
- Maintain legal documentation and support internal teams.
- Transaction management and coordination with internal teams and external advisors.
- Corporate restructuring and merger and demerger.
- Advise on general corporate laws and stamp duty matters.
Pre-requisites:
- 10+ years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, with deep knowledge of property and leasing matters.
Academic qualification:
- LLB (LLM & CS are added advantage, but not mandatory).
- Strong understanding of local real estate laws, government processes, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking.
- A self-starter with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Practical and results-driven team player.
- Prior law firm experience is an advantage.
