Senior Manager - Improvement Projects - Manufacturing

Position: Senior Manager, Lead Manufacturing Improvement Projects

Location: Bangalore

We are seeking a highly accomplished and results-driven Senior Manager to lead and execute high-impact manufacturing improvement projects across our multi-site organization. This role is crucial for driving operational excellence, enhancing quality, and ensuring the standardization of best practices across all manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership: Strategically identify, scope, and lead complex, multi-site manufacturing improvement projects focused on quality, efficiency, cost reduction, and waste elimination.

2. Operational Excellence: Facilitate the successful execution and sustainable deployment of quality and process improvement initiatives across all designated manufacturing sites.

3. Team Development & Training: Develop, mentor, and train cross-functional teams in advanced problem-solving methodologies, including Six Sigma, Lean principles, and continuous improvement tools.

4. Results & Reporting: Monitor project progress, quantify financial and operational benefits, and report results to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications:

1. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience successfully facilitating and leading quality and manufacturing improvement projects across multiple production sites.

2. Certification: Must hold a current and active Six Sigma Black Belt certification and training experience is must.

3. Skills: Proven expertise in training team on advanced problem-solving techniques (e.g., DMAIC, Root Cause Analysis) and statistical tools for data analysis, driving multiple improvement projects to solve actual manufacturing problems, such as defects elimination, breakdown reduction, waste reduction etc.

4. Communication: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
