Job Title: Senior Manager - Human Resources
Client: A South Africabased global mining organization establishing its operations in India.
Location: Navi Mumbai
Job Purpose:
The Senior Manager - Human Resources will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, compliance, performance management, and people analytics for the India entity. The role will support business growth by establishing strong HR processes, governance, and performance frameworks aligned with global standards and local regulations.
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
1. HR Operations & Compliance
- Manage employee records and documentation post onboarding, ensuring statutory and company compliance.
- Maintain and oversee HRIS data accuracy, integrity, and reporting.
- Support payroll processes by validating inputs, leave, and attendance data.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and statutory compliance applicable to India operations.
- Design and implement HR interventions aligned with business objectives.
2. Budgeting & HR Analytics
- Formulate and manage the annual HR budget, including budget tracking and variance analysis.
- Develop HR dashboards, workflow reports, and periodic MIS reports for leadership review.
- Drive HR analytics to support workforce planning, performance insights, and decision-making.
3. Performance Management
- Facilitate goal setting, performance planning, and appraisal cycles.
- Support managers in defining clear KRAs and KPIs linked to business outcomes.
- Ensure timely completion and effectiveness of performance reviews and development plans.
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
- Act as a trusted HR partner to employees and management during the India operations setup phase.
- Coordinate with global HR teams to ensure alignment with group policies and practices.
Incumbent Profile
Education
MBA / PGDM in Human Resources
Experience
- 10-12 years of core HR experience
- Strong exposure to Corporate HR with end-to-end employee lifecycle management
- Experience in manufacturing or non-service industries preferred
- Hands-on experience in HR operations, performance management, and HR analytics
Location Preference
Candidate must be based in Navi Mumbai or willing to relocate.
