
Job Description - Senior Manager - HR Projects
Location - Mumbai (Corporate Office)

Role Purpose:
The Senior Manager - HR Projects will lead and drive enterprise-wide HR transformation initiatives across HRMS implementation, compensation restructuring in line with the New Wage Code, and statutory compliance projects. The role requires a strong, confident leader capable of managing cross-functional stakeholders, driving change in a fast-paced data center environment, and ensuring governance, scalability, and regulatory adherence across locations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HRMS Implementation & Digital Transformation
- Lead end-to-end HRMS implementation (Core HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Performance, LMS, ESS/MSS).
- Manage vendor selection, UAT, data migration, system configuration, integrations, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Act as the HR SPOC between IT, vendors, finance, and business leaders.
- Drive automation and process standardization across employee lifecycle processes.
- Ensure system scalability aligned with data center expansion and workforce growth.
2. Compensation & New Wage Code Implementation
- Lead compensation restructuring projects in line with the New Wage Code requirements.
- Redesign salary structures, allowances, benefits, and CTC frameworks ensuring statutory compliance.
- Partner with Finance and Legal teams for impact analysis, cost modeling, and risk mitigation.
- Implement revised wage structures across employee categories including corporate, site, and shift-based roles.
- Drive communication and change management initiatives related to compensation transitions.
3. Statutory Compliance & Governance Projects
- Lead statutory compliance projects across PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Bonus, CLRA etc.
- Implement compliance tracking systems, audit frameworks, and regulatory reporting mechanisms.
- Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and government authorities.
- Ensure compliance readiness for multi-location data center operations.
- Proactively identify compliance gaps and drive corrective action plans.
4. HR Project Management & Change Leadership
- Manage multiple HR projects simultaneously with defined timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Develop project charters, roadmaps, risk registers, and governance models.
- Drive change management, communication planning, and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership and steering committees.
- Build strong governance frameworks to ensure sustainability of post-implementation.
5. Stakeholder & Leadership Management
- Partner closely with senior leadership, business heads, site leadership, IT, Finance, and Legal teams.
- Influence decision-making with data-backed insights and regulatory expertise.
- Act as a trusted advisor on HR transformation, compliance risk, and people governance.
- Demonstrate a strong, assertive personality to drive alignment and accountability.
