Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnering:
- Work closely with the Founding Team and department heads to understand business priorities and workforce needs.
- Provide HR insights to support decision-making and organisational planning.
- Lead manpower planning and organisation structuring.
Talent Management:
- Manage the entire employee lifecycle: onboarding, confirmation, performance, internal movements, and exits.
- Drive succession planning and talent development initiatives.
- Improve retention and capability-building across functions.
Performance Management:
- Lead goal setting, mid-year reviews, annual appraisals, and feedback cycles.
- Coach managers on feedback conversations and handling performance issues.
- Implement PIP plans with timely tracking and closure.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Act as the primary HR escalation point for employee concerns.
- Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution fairly.
- Drive engagement, communication, and culture-building initiatives.
HR Operations:
- Oversee payroll inputs, attendance, leave, statutory documentation, letters, and compliance.
- Ensure HR audits, process hygiene, and policy adherence.
- Streamline HR processes and drive digitisation.
HRMS Ownership:
- Manage the companys HRMS platform end-to-end (attendance, leave, onboarding, workflows, MIS).
- Ensure accurate data maintenance and system hygiene.
- Work with the HRMS vendor for enhancements, issue resolution, and feature rollouts.
- Generate dashboards, HR analytics, and reports for the Founding Team.
Learning & Development:
- Conduct TNI (Training Needs Identification) with business leaders.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs.
- Measure training impact and effectiveness.
Policies & Compliance:
- Maintain and update HR policies aligned with statutory and organisational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, POSH, and documentation audits.
Strategic HR Projects:
- Lead initiatives on culture-building, HR digitisation, compensation benchmarking, and organisational development.
- Support cross-functional change management initiatives.
Third-Party Payroll & Compliance:
- Coordinate with outsourced payroll partners for salary processing.
- Validate inputs (LOP, incentives, attendance, reimbursements, exits).
- Ensure statutory compliance: PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, TDS, etc.
Vendor Management:
- Manage HR vendors including recruitment partners, training agencies, insurance brokers, and BGV firms.
- Oversee SLAs, contract renewals, commercials, and service delivery.
