About the Role:

We are looking to hire a Chartered Accountant with strong experience in finance control, MIS, investment reporting, and multi-entity financial management within a promoter-led environment.

The role spans both:

1. Family Office investment reporting and control

2. Operating business finance and accounting oversight

The successful candidate will help build a structured finance and reporting framework across the group, enabling leadership to focus on strategic capital allocation and long-term business growth.

This is a hands-on builder role requiring ownership, discipline, analytical capability, and the ability to create systems and reporting structures from the ground up.

This is not a relationship management, advisory, or sales role.

Core Responsibilities:

A. Family Office - Investment Reporting & Portfolio Control:

Portfolio Monitoring:

- Maintain and monitor investment records across all Family Office entities

- Track acquisition cost, current value, realized gains, unrealized gains, distributions, maturities, and portfolio movements

- Monitor allocation against approved investment framework / IPS

- Track concentration, liquidity profile, maturity schedules, and allocation drift

Investment MIS & Reporting:

- Prepare monthly and quarterly portfolio MIS packs

- Generate asset allocation summaries and performance reports

- Support periodic portfolio review discussions

- Maintain action trackers and reporting records for investment decisions

Reconciliation & Data Integrity:

- Coordinate with PMS providers, AMCs, banks, custodians, brokers, and advisors

- Reconcile portfolio data across statements and internal records

- Ensure accuracy and completeness of investment reporting

- Maintain clean and structured investment databases and trackers

Tax Tracking:

- Track capital gains across investment transactions

- Monitor tax implications of redemptions, sales, and reallocations

- Support tax-efficient reporting and transaction planning

- Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors where required

B. Operating Businesses - Finance & Accounting Oversight:

Accounting & Financial Control:

- Oversee books of accounts across operating entities

- Support monthly close and financial reporting processes

- Coordinate with accountants, auditors, and finance teams

- Monitor receivables, payables, cash flow, and working capital

MIS & Business Reporting:

Build and maintain monthly MIS covering:

1. P&L

2. Cash flow

3. Working capital

4. Business performance indicators

- Support profitability analysis and reporting across business verticals

Inventory & Operational Finance:

- Support inventory accounting and controls where applicable

- Coordinate stock tracking, reconciliation, and reporting processes

- Work with operating teams to improve reporting discipline and data accuracy

Compliance & Audit Coordination:

- Coordinate GST, TDS, statutory audit, tax audit, and compliance processes

- Ensure timely closure of statutory and financial reporting requirements

- Support documentation and financial control processes across entities

C. Group Finance, Tax & Institutionalization:

Inter-Entity & Group Reporting:

- Track inter-entity transactions and reconciliations

- Support consolidated group-level reporting and balance sheet review

- Coordinate fund movements, loans, capital infusions, and distributions

Process Building:

- Build reporting templates, trackers, and approval workflows

- Standardize reporting formats and finance control processes

- Improve internal financial discipline and reduce person-dependence

- Help build a scalable finance and reporting infrastructure for the group

Systems & Controls:

- Support implementation and improvement of ERP / accounting / reporting systems

- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and process notes where required

- Drive accuracy, timeliness, and reliability of financial reporting
