Senior Manager - Finance - Agri

Jigsaw has been mandated to hire for a fast-growing agri-tech startup, having their 1-10 journey, looking to onboard a strategic and hands-on finance leader to build and lead the company's internal finance function from the ground up.

This is a high-impact opportunity to work directly with the Founders and leadership team while setting up scalable finance processes for a rapidly growing business operating across AI-led crop advisory and dairy health solutions.

What you'll be doing :

- Build and establish the in-house finance and accounts function as the company's first finance hire

- Work closely with the Founders on financial governance, strategic planning, and future fundraising initiatives

- Own end-to-end finance operations including AP, AR, GL, treasury, payroll, monthly closures, and multi-entity consolidation

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, variance analysis, and MIS reporting

- Drive GST, TDS, ROC, MCA, and statutory compliance with complete ownership

- Design and implement internal financial controls, approval mechanisms, and reporting frameworks

- Prepare investor reports, support due diligence processes, and maintain fundraising data rooms

- Review commercial agreements, manage cap tables, and partner with external consultants/auditors

- Build scalable finance processes aligned with the company's next phase of growth

What we're looking for:

- Qualified CA with 4-6 years of relevant post-qualification experience OR MBA Finance with 10+ years of post-qualification experience

- Strong experience across finance controllership, accounting, compliance, treasury, and financial planning

- Prior exposure of working in Startups (Must have)

- Hands-on understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, audits, and regulatory filings

- Strong financial reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management skills

- Ability to work in an unstructured, high-growth environment with a builder mindset

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools

- Detail-oriented, proactive, and execution-driven professional
