Senior Manager (Corporate) - HR Generalist and Operations

Responsible for a strategic leadership role bridging broad human resources functions with day-to-day operational excellence and align with organizational goals while keeping the workforce compliant, engaged, and productive.

Key Responsibilities :

1. HR Operations & System Management :

- Oversee the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, offboarding, and documentation.

- Manage and optimize HR Information Systems (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy, system integrations, and payroll alignment.

- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and automate workflows to enhance departmental efficiency.

2. HR Generalist Functions:

- Advise management on employee relations, resolve complex conflicts, and conduct sensitive workplace investigations (e.g., harassment or misconduct) with strict confidentiality.

- Partner with business leaders on performance management, compensation planning, and talent reviews.

- Champion employee engagement, retention programs, and workplace culture initiatives.

3. Strategic HR Support:

- Identifying and preparing internal talent for future leadership roles

- Assisting with role mapping, reporting structures, and team restructuring

- Crafting HR messages, company-wide announcements, and change management communication

- Designing initiatives that align employee behavior with company values

3. Compliance & Policy Governance:

- Interpret and ensure strict adherence to local, state, and national labor laws and statutory reporting requirements (e.g., PF, Gratuity, ESI, or international regulations).

- Design, update, and communicate company-wide HR policies, ensuring consistent implementation across all departments.

4. Workforce Planning & Analytics:

- Track HR metrics (headcount, attrition, hiring trends) to provide actionable data and insights to executive leadership.

- Partner with Finance and Talent Acquisition on HR budgeting, headcount forecasting, and workforce planning.

5. HR Data and Reporting:

- HR Generalists are responsible for updating HRMS software, generating monthly reports, tracking attrition rates, and analyzing workforce trends.

Qualification And Experience:

1. MBA in Human Resources with 1015 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 35 years in a managerial or senior operational role.

2. Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment legislation, and industry best practices.

3. Deep working knowledge of labor laws, HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, , SAP SuccessFactors, or similar tools), conflict resolution, and data analytics.

4. Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, high emotional intelligence (EQ), and strategic problem-solving abilities

5. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

6. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

7. High emotional intelligence, problem-solving mindset, and a strong sense of confidentiality and ethics.
