Role Overview

The Senior Manager - Business Finance acts as a strategic finance partner to business teams, driving financial discipline, profitability, and informed decision-making across B2B sales, supply chain, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering & Decision Support

- Partner closely with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams

- Provide financial input into strategic and operational decisions

- Evaluate new business initiatives, pricing models, customer contracts, and channel strategies

Margin, Pricing & Profitability Management

- Track and analyse product, channel, and customer-level profitability

- Review pricing structures, discounts, rebates, and commercial terms

- Identify margin leakages and drive corrective actions with business teams

Commercial Governance

- Establish and enforce financial governance over trade schemes, customer contracts, and incentives

- Ensure approvals, documentation, and compliance with internal policies

- Support negotiations with key customers and channel partners

Performance Tracking & MIS

- Develop business MIS, dashboards, and performance scorecards

- Track KPIs related to revenue growth, margins, cost efficiency, and ROI

- Provide clear, actionable insights to CFO and senior leadership

Cross-functional Coordination

- Work closely with FP&A, Finance Controller, and Treasury teams

- Ensure consistency between commercial decisions, financial plans, and actual performance

- Act as the finance bridge between business teams and leadership

Qualifications & Experience

- 6-12 years of experience in business or commercial finance roles

- MBA (Finance / Strategy / Business Analytics), or CA with relevant Business Finance exposure

- Experience in B2B businesses, distribution-led models, wholesale, or enterprise sales environments

- Strong exposure to pricing, trade spends, channel economics, and margin management

- Proven business partnering experience (beyond reporting roles)
