Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager US Market to drive revenue growth by acquiring and expanding enterprise and mid-market clients across the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in new business acquisition, strategic partnerships, account growth, and US market sales, with deep understanding of client needs and long sales cycles.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales:
- Own end-to-end sales cycle for the US market: lead generation, prospecting, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and closure.
- Identify and acquire new enterprise & mid-market clients through outbound and inbound channels.
- Build and execute a US market go-to-market strategy aligned with revenue targets.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop strong value propositions and customized solutions based on client requirements.
Client Relationship & Account Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with CXOs, VPs, Directors, and decision-makers in US-based organizations.
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding business challenges and proposing relevant solutions.
- Drive account expansion, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement.
Market Research & Strategy:
- Analyze US market trends, competitor offerings, pricing models, and customer needs.
- Identify new verticals, industries, and service lines for business growth.
- Provide inputs to leadership on sales strategy, pricing, and positioning.
Proposal & Contract Management:
- Prepare and review RFPs, RFQs, proposals, and presentations for US clients.
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract finalization.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, and delivery teams to close deals efficiently.
Internal Collaboration:
- Work closely with delivery, product, marketing, and recruitment teams to ensure smooth onboarding and execution of projects.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates to management.
- Mentor and guide junior business development executives or SDRs (if applicable).
Reporting & CRM Management:
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and client data in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).
- Track KPIs such as pipeline value, conversion rates, deal size, and sales cycle duration.
- Share regular performance reports and insights with leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 710 years of proven experience in Business Development / Sales for the US market.
- Strong experience in B2B sales, enterprise sales, or strategic account management.
- Excellent understanding of US business culture, sales processes, and buying behavior.
- Proven track record of closing high-value deals ($100K+ preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience with IT services / SaaS / staffing / consulting sales is highly preferred.
- Comfortable working in US time zones.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Existing network or client relationships in the US market.
- Experience handling long sales cycles and complex deals.
- MBA or equivalent business qualification.
- Experience managing or mentoring a sales team.
