Role Overview:

Seeking a seasoned legal professional to independently manage complex commercial contracts, corporate transactions, compliance, and regulatory advisory. Partner closely with business teams to provide strategic legal guidance supporting rapid expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management:

- Draft, review, redline, negotiate commercial contracts (vendors, logistics, SaaS tech, manpower, manufacturing, material supply)

- Execute corporate transactions: M&A, investments, fundraising

- Standardize contract templates/negotiation playbooks

- Drive contract lifecycle management and compliance monitoring

Compliance & Regulatory Advisory:

- Advise business on legal risks, new initiatives, expansion plans

- Ensure compliance: FSSAI, Legal Metrology, labour laws, trade/warehouse licenses

- Monitor regulatory developments; recommend policy/process changes

- Manage IP portfolio/enforcement; draft internal policies (anti-bribery, data protection)

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 7-9 years PQE: LL.B from Tier 1/2 law schools

- Mandatory: Tier 1/2 firm experience in M&A, due diligence, fundraising

- Expertise: Strong contract drafting/negotiation; FDI, data protection, fintech laws

- Traits: Fast-paced collaborator with excellent communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management

Preferred: FMCG/e-commerce/fintech startup exposure
