Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Compliance professional to lead regulatory compliance initiatives within the organization. The role involves ensuring adherence to RBI, SEBI, and other regulatory guidelines, managing audits, and strengthening the IT compliance framework across the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance Management:

- Ensure adherence to RBI Master Directions, CSITE Guidelines, SEBI directives, and other applicable regulatory requirements.

Regulatory Liaison:

- Act as the primary point of contact for interactions with regulatory bodies such as RBI, SEBI, and NPCI for IT compliance matters.

Policy & Framework Implementation:

- Support the development, implementation, and periodic review of IT compliance frameworks, policies, and SOPs in alignment with regulatory mandates.

Risk Management & Assessment:

- Conduct IT compliance risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and drive mitigation strategies across the organization.

Audits & Inspections:

- Lead coordination and preparation for regulatory inspections and audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

Reporting & Documentation:

- Prepare compliance reports for senior management and regulators. Maintain comprehensive documentation related to audits, inspections, and compliance activities.

Information Security (ISMS):

- Support the implementation and monitoring of Information Security Management Systems across the organization.

Compliance Risk Assessment System:

- Contribute to the implementation and ongoing management of the enterprise-wide Compliance Risk Assessment system.

Risk Evaluation:

- Review and assess the effectiveness and completeness of risk assessments conducted by the first line of defense.

Job Requirements:

- Degree with 5-8 years of experience in IT Compliance, IT Audit, or IT Assurance roles within the BFSI sector.

- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks including RBI and SEBI guidelines.

- Hands-on experience in compliance risk assessments and regulatory audits.

- Good knowledge of compliance risk management principles.

- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in the Banking / BFSI sector is highly preferred.

- Prior experience in handling regulatory interactions and inspections.

- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, or CISSP will be an added advantage.
