
Role Overview:
The incumbent will be responsible for commercial, infrastructure and project matters, including contract drafting and negotiation, disputes, claims and legal risk mitigation. workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft review &negotiate high-value EPC contracts to ensure favorable terms and comprehensive risk allocation for the organization.
- Lead the end-to-end review of project development agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal governance policies.
- Manage the lifecycle of procurement contracts, providing legal oversight to optimize vendor relationships and supply chain security.
- Oversee O&M contracts to safeguard the long-term operational efficiency and legal interests of our project assets.
- Implement effective legal project management practices to streamline contract turnaround times and enhance departmental productivity.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition and HR teams to provide legal guidance on internal policies and employment-related documentation as needed.
- Provide proactive legal counsel to internal stakeholders, translating complex legal risks into actionable business insights to support informed decision-making.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in drafting and reviewing diverse commercial contracts, with a specific focus on the infrastructure and energy sectors.
- Proven ability to manage complex legal projects independently, balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Mumbai.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in EPC, infrastructure, construction and major project contracts, preferably from a leading law firm.
