We have been mandated by a large conglomerate into manufacturing and EPC business for the below mentioned role.

Position Name : Sr.Manager/AGM- Legal Contract

Location : Mumbai

Qualification : LLB /LLM

Experience : 8+ Years

1. Drafting :

- Draft, review contracts for NDA, MoUs, Sales, Purchase, Export/Import, procurement and other business related documents.

- Manage contracts for both domestic and international stakeholders, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and industry standards.

- Provide support for global supply chain contracts, including logistics and customs.

2. Negotiation & Vendor/Customer Engagement :

- Contract negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and customers to secure favorable terms while maintaining strong business relationships.

- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., procurement, sales, operations) to align contract terms with operational goals.

3.Risk Assessment & Mitigation :

- Identify, assess, and address legal and commercial risks in contracts.

- Provide strategic recommendations to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with corporate policies and legal requirements.

- Monitor regulatory changes and their impact on existing and future contracts.

4. Documentation & Record Management:

- Maintain organized records of all contracts (soft/hard copy) and associated documentation for audit readiness and ease of access.

- Ensure adherence to corporate governance and documentation standards.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Act as a liaison between legal, sales, procurement, and other relevant teams to ensure seamless execution of contracts.

- Support internal stakeholders with contract interpretation and dispute resolution.

Skills & Competencies :

- Working knowledge of domestic and international contract law.

- Negotiating with vendors and customers from China and the USA.

- Strong analytical, drafting, and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent understanding of risk management, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
