Senior Manager/Assistant General Manager - Business Finance - FMCG/Manufacturing/Pharma

About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned finance professional to lead the Supply Chain Finance function, driving financial planning, performance analysis, cost optimization, and strategic business partnering across supply chain operations.

This role will work closely with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and commercial teams to improve operational efficiency, optimize working capital, and support business growth through data-driven financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for supply chain operations

- Drive cost optimization, working capital improvement, and value creation initiatives

- Analyze procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution cost structures to identify efficiency opportunities

- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to business leadership

- Partner with Supply Chain and Manufacturing leadership for strategic financial decision-making

- Support Capex/Opex evaluation and manufacturing cost reduction initiatives

Define and monitor key supply chain KPIs including:

- Cost per unit

- Inventory turnover

- Working capital

- Service levels

- Drive ROI-focused initiatives for supply chain projects and investments

- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, manufacturing, and commercial teams

- Mentor and guide finance team members across supply chain functions

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

- 10-16 years of progressive finance experience

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Finance / Manufacturing Finance roles

Strong understanding of:

- Procurement

- Manufacturing

- Logistics

- Distribution operations

Proven experience in:

- Cost optimization

- Working capital management

- Business partnering

- Financial planning & analysis

- Experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, Pharma, or multinational organizations preferred

- Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and strategic thinking capabilities
