Senior Legal Counsel - R&D Procurement Contracts - LLB

One of our Client, Johnson and Johnson is looking for an an experienced legal professional to support the EMEA R&D Procurement organization as a Senior Legal Counsel focused on procurement and commercial contracting matters.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead supplier negotiations and provide legal counsel for high-value R&D procurement transactions.

- Draft, review, negotiate, and redline complex supplier and commercial agreements.

- Support escalated contractual and compliance matters in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.

- Advise Procurement and S2C teams across EMEA on strategic sourcing and contractual risk management.

- Ensure agreements align with business objectives, compliance standards, and company policies.

- Collaborate with global contracting and process improvement teams to enhance templates, playbooks, and contracting workflows.

- Support harmonization and simplification initiatives for procurement contracting processes.

Required Qualifications:

- LLB or equivalent law degree with active license/certification to practice law.

- 8-10+ years of relevant experience with Tier 1/Tier 2 law firms and/or multinational organizations.

- Strong experience in drafting and negotiating high-value supplier agreements and EMEA/cross-border contracts.

- Deep understanding of GxP regulations including GLP, GCP, and GMP.

- Expertise in commercial clauses including indemnities, liability caps, service levels, IP, and data protection.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.

- Strong English drafting and communication skills.

Shift: EMEA overlapping working hours.
