Senior Legal Counsel - IT Procurement Contracts (External Contractor)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex IT procurement and technology contracts, including software, SaaS, cloud, outsourcing, and managed services agreements.
- Provide legal support on high-value supplier transactions and contract escalations.
- Partner with Procurement and Sourcing teams to support strategic sourcing initiatives and manage contractual risks.
- Advise business stakeholders on commercial, legal, compliance, and risk-related matters.
- Support the development and enhancement of contract templates, playbooks, and contracting processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and legal colleagues on global contracting matters.
Required Qualifications:- LLB or equivalent law degree with a valid license to practice.
- 8-10+ years of relevant legal experience within a leading law firm and/or multinational organization.
- Strong experience drafting and negotiating complex IT procurement and technology contracts.
- Proven expertise handling high-value, cross-border commercial agreements, including US and/or EMEA contracts.
- Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).
Preferred Background:- Experience supporting Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Vendor Management functions.
- Exposure to healthcare, pharmaceutical, technology, or other multinational environments
