Roles and Responsibilities:

- Lead commercial contracting activities including customer amendments, renewals, and change requests.

- Draft, review, and negotiate vendor and procurement contracts and support new customer deals in coordination with the global legal team.

- Maintain contract templates, clause libraries, and redlining standards to ensure consistency and efficiency in contracting.

- Provide first-level legal support on employment, HR, and labor law matters in India.

- Coordinate with external counsel on disputes, regulatory interpretations, and litigation matters.

- Support litigation and dispute management through fact gathering, coordination with business teams, and management of external counsel.

- Own the contract repository and oversee contract lifecycle management processes.

- Track legal metrics such as turnaround time, contractual exceptions, and risk escalations.

- Provide practical legal guidance to cross-functional teams including sales, procurement, and HR.

Skills and Qualifications:

- LLB/LLM qualified legal professional with 8-12 years of relevant legal experience.

- Strong experience in commercial contracting, preferably in global SaaS, technology, or enterprise software organizations.

- Sound knowledge of Indian employment and labor laws.

- Experience working with global stakeholders and cross-border legal teams.

- Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
