
Role: Legal Associate
Location: Mumbai (Bandra West)
CTC: 10 - 15lpa
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients before the Supreme Court, High Courts, Tribunals, and other judicial/regulatory authorities.
- Conduct legal due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and financial transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
- Manage and oversee litigation and dispute resolution proceedings to mitigate risks and achieve favorable outcomes.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Provide expert legal advice on the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), including resolution strategies and asset recovery.
- Carry out in-depth legal research and interpretation of laws such as the Companies Act, SEBI Regulations, FEMA, and IRDAI guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel to resolve compliance, regulatory, and investigation matters.
- Support client negotiations, investor communications, and legal aspects of corporate structuring.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) - Mandatory
- Master of Laws (LL.M.) - Preferred
- 3-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in relevant legal roles
- Strong legal drafting and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments under strict deadlines
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capability
- Knowledge of corporate laws, IBC, and financial regulations.
