A) Company Budget & Fund Management
- Work with different teams to create the company's yearly budget and business plan.
- Review and analyze fund requirements and banking needs.
- Create a plan for how company funds will be allocated and used, and communicate it to all teams.
- Continuously monitor working capital, fund usage, fund needs, and returns on capital.
B) Lead Finance Function & Ensure Timely Accounting
- Set up and regularly review key finance processes and internal controls.
- Supervise treasury, accounting, and internal audit activities, and take corrective steps when needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely accounting across all plants.
- Ensure funds are released on time.
- Maintain proper MIS reports.
- Oversee banking activities such as negotiations, deals, and resolving issues, in coordination with the group finance team.
C) Ensure Timely Reporting
- Compare actual performance with the budget and report differences.
- Oversee month-end reporting.
- Review periodic reports for cost management projects and initiatives.
- Manage year-end audits and ensure all required information is provided.
D) Costing Function
- Provide costing and MIS-related inputs to business teams.
- Coordinate with Marketing and Product Development for costing needs.
- Track product-wise cost and profitability.
E) Cost Allocation & Budget Control
- Prepare, distribute, and monitor allocation of funds.
- Share reports that validate and control budget allocations.
- Ensure audit reports cover all transactions under budget control.
- Prepare alerts for budget exceptions and how they were resolved.
- Monitor costs at a high level.
- Advise different departments on cost control and optimization through data analysis.
F) Regulatory Compliance & Financial Reporting
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and secretarial requirements to reduce company risks.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial statements.
- Oversee reports related to treasury, capital expenses, operating expenses, and variances.
- Ensure accurate preparation of financial statements such as balance sheet, P&L, and annual reports.
G) Financial Controlling
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly inflows and outflows of funds.
- Ensure timely collection of receivables and avoid unnecessary delays in payments.
- Set up, check, and enforce internal financial controls.
- Guide financial actions by implementing and enforcing finance policies and procedures.
H) Risk Management
- Ensure the company follows its risk management framework covering external, operational, financial, and regulatory risks.
