Position: Senior Investment Professional ECM / Capital Markets Background

Experience: 12+ years

Domain: Equity Capital Markets (Sell-side) at a reputed merchant banking firm

Business Unit: Asset Management (Buy-side)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong ECM / Capital Markets background to join our Asset Management team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise from sell-side ECM advisory and help us strengthen our investment capabilities in both listed and pre-listing markets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Listed Market Investments

- Lead investments in listed securities, particularly IPOs and pre-IPO anchor placements.

- Analyze deal structures, valuations, and market dynamics to identify high-conviction opportunities.

2. Support Unlisted Portfolio Companies

- Assist our unlisted portfolio companies in preparing for and executing their listing journey.

- Provide guidance on capital raising, regulatory compliance, and market positioning to ensure successful IPOs or listings.

Ideal Profile:

- 12+ years of work experience in Equity Capital Markets, preferably in a merchant banking / investment banking sell-side role.

- Strong understanding of IPO processes, pre-IPO investment structuring, and post-listing dynamics.

- Demonstrated ability to work with senior management of companies on listing strategy and execution.

- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
