Role Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned HR Leader to drive people strategy, in-house talent acquisition, and vendor ecosystem for a fast-growing Private Bank / NBFC / Fintech organization.

This role requires a balance of traditional banking HR rigor (compliance, governance) and fintech agility (speed, digital hiring, scalability).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic HR Leadership

- Define and execute HR strategy aligned with aggressive business growth targets

- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, org design, and digital transformation

- Build a culture of performance, compliance, and innovation

2. In-House Talent Acquisition (Core Focus)

Build and scale high-performing internal TA teams across:

- Retail Banking / Branch Banking

- Credit & Risk

- Collections & Operations

- Digital Banking / Product / Tech (Fintech side)

- Reduce dependency on agencies by strengthening direct sourcing channels

- Drive bulk hiring (sales/collections) + niche hiring (risk, analytics, tech)

3. Vendor Empanelment & Governance

- Design and implement a structured vendor empanelment framework

Onboard specialized vendors for:

- Bulk hiring (Sales / Field roles)

- Leadership hiring

- Tech & Digital hiring (Fintech stack)

- Define SLAs, rate cards, and engagement models (contingency / RPO / contract staffing)

- Track vendor performance: closure ratio, TAT, quality, compliance adherence

- Optimize vendor costs and drive accountability

4. HR Compliance & Risk Management

- Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, labor laws, and internal audit standards

- Manage employee lifecycle with strong governance (especially critical in NBFC/Banking)

- Drive background verification, documentation, and audit readiness

5. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

- Oversee onboarding, payroll, engagement, performance management

- Build scalable HR processes for high-volume + multi-location workforce

- Strengthen retention strategies, especially in high attrition roles (sales/collections)

6. Digital HR & Analytics

- Implement ATS, HRMS, and automation tools for data-driven hiring decisions

Track key metrics:

- Time-to-hire

- Cost-per-hire

- Offer-to-join ratio

- Vendor ROI

- Leverage data for predictive hiring and workforce planning

7. Stakeholder Management

- Work closely with Business Heads (Retail, Credit, Risk, Tech)


- Act as a bridge between business, HR, and external vendors


- Provide market intelligence on hiring trends in BFSI & Fintech

Key Requirements:

- 12-18 years of HR experience with mandatory exposure to Private Bank / NBFC / Fintech

Strong experience in:

- High-volume hiring (sales/field roles)

- Niche hiring (risk, analytics, tech)

- Proven track record in building in-house TA teams + vendor ecosystems

- Expertise in vendor empanelment, negotiation, and governance frameworks

- Strong understanding of compliance, audits, and regulatory hiring norms

- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments

Preferred Background:

Experience with leading organizations such as:

- Private Banks (e.g., retail or digital banking arms)

- NBFCs (lending, microfinance, vehicle finance, etc.)

- Fintech companies (payments, lending platforms, neobanks)

- MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent
