Role Overview:

The Sr HR Business Partner role in Mumbai is a pivotal position responsible for aligning HR strategies with business objectives within a designated client group. This role acts as a consultant to business leaders, providing guidance and support on all HR-related matters, including talent acquisition, talent management, compensation and benefits, and performance management.


The Sr HR Business Partner collaborates closely with business unit leaders and HR specialist teams to deliver integrated HR solutions that drive business performance and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with business leaders to understand their strategic goals and develop HR strategies that support the achievement of those goals.

- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on a wide range of HR topics, including performance management, employee relations, compensation, and talent development.

- Lead the talent acquisition process for assigned business units, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience.

- Develop and implement talent management programs to identify, develop, and retain high-potential employees, contributing to a strong leadership pipeline.

- Manage the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning, to drive employee performance and engagement.

- Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and insights, and develop recommendations for improving HR programs and processes, ultimately enhancing organizational effectiveness.

- Collaborate with HR specialist teams, such as compensation and benefits, learning and development, and HR operations, to deliver integrated HR solutions to the business.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, mitigating risk and maintaining ethical standards.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.

- Proven expertise in talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, and compensation and benefits.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with business leaders and employees at all levels.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.

- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence stakeholders.

- A Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.

- 6-14 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on HR business partnering.
