About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Leader to head the Accounts & Finance function for a leading real estate and construction organization. The role requires strategic oversight of financial operations, statutory compliance, project finance, budgeting, treasury, and team leadership while ensuring robust financial governance and business profitability. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in real estate accounting, Ind AS, GST, project finance, fundraising, and ERP implementation, along with strong leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting :
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations in compliance with Ind AS and applicable accounting standards.
- Ensure timely preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor the accuracy of books of accounts, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Prepare management reports, MIS, and financial analysis for senior leadership.
2. Budgeting & Financial Planning :
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Monitor budget utilization and analyze variances.
- Develop financial models to support strategic business decisions.
- Recommend cost optimization initiatives to improve profitability.
3. Treasury & Cash Flow Management :
- Manage treasury operations and optimize working capital.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor liquidity requirements.
- Ensure efficient fund utilization across projects.
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for banking operations.
4. Project Finance & Fundraising :
- Evaluate project viability and prepare financial feasibility reports.
- Structure and manage project financing arrangements.
- Lead fundraising initiatives through debt, equity, and institutional funding.
- Build and maintain relationships with banks, NBFCs, investors, and financial institutions.
5. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance :
- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, Companies Act, and other applicable regulations.
- Review statutory returns and tax filings.
- Coordinate assessments, notices, and regulatory submissions.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and accounting standards.
6. Audit & Internal Controls :
- Lead statutory, internal, tax, and GST audits.
- Strengthen financial controls, governance, and risk management processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and audit recommendations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and consultants.
7. ERP & Process Improvement :
- Drive ERP implementation, enhancement, and optimization.
- Improve finance processes through automation and digital transformation.
- Establish standardized financial reporting and approval workflows.
- Enhance operational efficiency through process improvements.
8. Team Leadership :
- Lead and mentor the Accounts & Finance team.
- Develop high-performing finance professionals through coaching and training.
- Drive collaboration with business, project, procurement, legal, and leadership teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement.

- Exposure to ERP implementation and finance transformation projects.
- Experience leading large finance teams.
Educational Qualification :
- Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory.
- MBA (Finance) or additional finance certifications would be an advantage.
