Job Overview

looking for a detail-oriented, compliance-driven Sr. Finance Head to strengthen its finance and accounting function across a franchisee-led, pan-India logistics network. The role will focus on accounting governance, statutory compliance, financial reporting, GST management, audits, and regional finance oversight, ensuring uniformity and control across head office and regional operations.

The position will work closely with the Finance Head and regional teams to build robust processes, improve reporting accuracy, and enforce compliance discipline across corporate and franchisee operations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across head office and regional finance teams.

- Ensure accurate and timely Accounts Payable processes, payments, and vendor reconciliations.

- Ensure preparation, review, and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Design and standardize MIS reporting formats to enable real-time visibility for management and stakeholders.

- Monitor franchisee-level accounting and reporting, ensuring adherence to defined financial processes.

- Oversee payment processes, bank reconciliations, and cash management to maintain liquidity discipline.

Audit & Internal Controls

- Lead and coordinate statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, ensuring timely and accurate closures.

- Act as the primary liaison with external and internal auditors, resolving audit queries efficiently.

- Implement and strengthen internal financial controls to safeguard revenue and prevent leakages.

- Ensure audit observations are tracked, closed, and prevented from recurring.

GST & Taxation

- Ensure accurate and timely filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns across all business locations.

- Manage GST reconciliations, input tax credit (ITC) validation, and compliance with indirect tax regulations.

- Support income tax, TDS, and other statutory filings, ensuring regulatory compliance.

- Address GST notices, assessments, and coordination with consultants as required.

Regional Finance Oversight

- Supervise and guide regional finance teams to ensure uniform accounting and compliance standards across zones.

- Monitor franchisee finance operations to ensure GST compliance, timely reporting, and process adherence.

- Act as a governance layer between head office and regional finance teams.

Process Improvement & Automation

- Implement financial control systems and process automation to enhance transparency and efficiency.

- Identify gaps in accounting, reporting, and compliance processes and recommend improvements.

- Improve reporting accuracy, turnaround time, and data reliability through system-driven solutions.

- Enforce a compliance-first culture across corporate and franchisee operations.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong expertise in Accounting, Financial Reporting & Compliance

- Hands-on experience in GST, audits, and statutory compliance

- Strong understanding of internal controls and risk management

- Process improvement and automation mindset

- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Candidate Profile

- CA with 8-10 years of experience

- Experience in logistics, supply chain, franchisee-led, or multi-branch organizations

- Strong exposure to GST-heavy operations and regional compliance

- Prior experience working with auditors, consultants, and regional teams

- Comfortable operating in a high-volume, fast-paced logistics environment
