Role Overview:

The Sr. Director - R2R role is a leadership position responsible for overseeing and optimizing the Record to Report (R2R) processes for our organization. This role collaborates closely with accounting teams, finance leadership, and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The Sr. Director directly impacts the integrity of our financial data and plays a crucial role in maintaining compliance and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the R2R function, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for the organization.

- Develop and implement R2R process improvements, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy for the finance department.

- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements for external stakeholders.

- Manage relationships with external auditors, coordinating audit activities and addressing audit findings to maintain a strong control environment for the company.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to the R2R team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development for team members.

- Drive the implementation of new accounting standards and regulations, ensuring the organization's compliance and minimizing potential risks for the business.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline data flows and improve the integration of financial information across the organization for better decision making.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in leading and managing Record to Report (R2R) processes within a complex organizational structure.

- Proven ability to develop and implement process improvements, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

- Experience in managing relationships with external auditors and addressing audit findings.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.

- Adaptability to work in a hybrid work environment based in Hyderabad.
