Senior Director - Finance

Role Overview:

As the Senior Director of Finance, you will be a key leader responsible for overseeing all financial operations, reporting, and analysis for our Hyderabad operations and contributing to the overall financial strategy of the organization. You will collaborate closely with the executive leadership team, department heads, and external stakeholders to ensure financial integrity, compliance, and optimal resource allocation. Your insights and leadership will directly impact the company's profitability, growth, and long-term financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulations, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery for internal and external stakeholders.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making, capital budgeting, and long-range planning for the organization.

- Oversee the budgeting process, working collaboratively with department heads to develop realistic and achievable budgets that align with the company's strategic objectives.

- Manage the financial reporting process, ensuring compliance with all applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements to mitigate financial risk.

- Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to the executive team on key business decisions, including pricing strategies, investment opportunities, and cost optimization initiatives to improve profitability.

- Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement to enhance team effectiveness.

- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers to ensure the company receives high-quality and cost-effective services.

- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems, identifying opportunities to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and improve the accuracy of financial data.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, with a proven track record of driving financial performance improvements.

- Strong understanding of IFRS and local accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and mentor a high-performing finance team.

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a premier institution.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.

- Comfortable working in an on-site environment in Hyderabad.
