Position: Senior Business Development Manager - B2B Sales (Office Furniture / Workplace Solutions)

About the Role:

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Bengaluru market. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in B2B consultative sales, understands the dynamics of long sales cycles, and can independently generate and close opportunities. You'll focus on building strategic relationships, securing new accounts, and expanding our footprint in the office furniture and workplace solutions sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead new business development by identifying, qualifying, and acquiring clients across corporate, education, and institutional sectors.

- Drive lead generation through networking, industry events, referrals, digital platforms, and market research.

- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, solution design discussions, proposals, negotiations, and closure.

- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure account growth and repeat business.

- Collaborate with internal design, operations, and project delivery teams to create tailored solutions.

- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs to provide strategic insights.

- Consistently achieve revenue targets and prepare accurate forecasts and pipeline reports.

- Proven ability to secure new markets and acquire high-value clients.

- Strong track record in managing enterprise accounts and ensuring customer satisfaction.

2. Operational Excellence

- Ensure adherence to sales processes, reporting standards, and operational guidelines.

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.

3. Collaboration & Communication

- Conduct impactful client meetings, presentations, and solution briefings.

- Partner effectively with internal teams and external dealers/partners to deliver results.

- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to share insights that elevate sales performance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

1. Experience: 8-10 years in B2B sales, preferably in office furniture, interiors, workspace solutions, or related industries.

2. Education: Graduate (MBA preferred, but not mandatory with strong track record).

3. Network: Existing connects in corporate real estate, design firms, or workplace procurement teams will be an advantage.
