Senior Business Consultant Intellimatch

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Consultant Intellimatch to work on the implementation of enterprise reconciliation products for Capital Markets clients. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional expertise in reconciliation processes, Capital Markets operations, and vendor reconciliation platforms. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, implementation teams, and client representatives to understand business requirements, support product implementation, validate reconciliation processes, and ensure successful project delivery.

The candidate should have a thorough understanding of automated reconciliation concepts, business analysis, requirements gathering, and Agile delivery methodologies. Experience in implementing leading reconciliation products and mentoring junior consultants will be highly valued.

Required Skills:

Automated Reconciliation:

- Strong understanding of the automated reconciliation process for Position, Cash, Trade, and P&L reconciliations.

- Experience working with reconciliations between internal systems and external counterparties, including brokers, custodians, and banks.

- Good understanding of investigation workflows, exception handling, break management, reconciliation lifecycle, and issue resolution.

- Knowledge of reconciliation processes across multiple financial systems and data sources.

Capital Markets & Reconciliation Domain:

- Business Consultant will work on the implementation of reconciliation products for Capital Markets.

- Good understanding of Capital Markets business processes and reconciliation requirements.

- Strong functional knowledge of reconciliation concepts and industry-standard reconciliation practices.

- Ability to understand client business processes and translate reconciliation requirements into product configurations and implementation activities.

Automated Financial Data Matching:

- Good understanding of automated reconciliation for matching and validating financial data across multiple systems.

- Knowledge of transaction matching, exception identification, data validation, reconciliation rules, and workflow processing.

- Understanding of financial data movement across multiple applications and reconciliation platforms.

Position, Cash, Trade & P&L Reconciliations:

- Candidate should be able to understand automated reconciliation processes for: Position Reconciliation, Cash Reconciliation, Trade Reconciliation, Profit & Loss (P&L) Reconciliation.

- Experience working on reconciliations between internal systems and external counterparties such as brokers, custodians, and banks.

- Understanding of investigation workflows, reconciliation exceptions, unmatched transactions, and break investigation.

Reconciliation Product Implementation:

- The consultant must have implemented at least one vendor reconciliation product such as: Adra by Trintech, ReconArt, FIS Intellimatch, Frontier Reconciliation (by Trintech).

- Experience in reconciliation product implementation, configuration, business validation, user acceptance support, implementation lifecycle, and client engagement will be considered advantageous.

Business Analysis:

- Candidates with experience in: Business Analysis, Requirements Gathering, Requirement Documentation, Functional Analysis, Stakeholder Interaction, Functional Workshops, Solution Validation.

- Ability to understand business requirements and support implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Product Implementation:

- Experience in reconciliation product implementation projects.

- Exposure to implementation lifecycle activities including requirement gathering, solution design support, testing support, implementation support, and post-implementation stabilization.

Agile Methodology:

- Experience working in Agile methodology environments.

- Familiarity with Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and collaborative delivery.

Leadership:

- Experience leading teams of less experienced Business Consultants.

- Ability to mentor junior consultants, provide functional guidance, review deliverables, and support successful project execution.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills are considered a significant advantage.
