Senior Associate - Legal/General Corporate Practice - LLM/LLB

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Associate to join our General Corporate practice in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai. In this role, you will serve as a key legal advisor, navigating complex regulatory landscapes to provide strategic counsel on high-stakes corporate transactions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, senior partners, and diverse client stakeholders to structure deals, mitigate legal risks, and ensure seamless execution of corporate mandates. Your contributions will directly influence the firms ability to deliver high-quality legal solutions, ultimately shaping the growth trajectories and operational stability of our clients' businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead comprehensive legal due diligence processes for M&A transactions to identify potential liabilities and protect client interests during deal negotiations.

- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of complex commercial contracts to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance.

- Advise clients on corporate strategy and governance matters to facilitate informed decision-making and long-term organizational health.

- Oversee end-to-end contract management lifecycles, ensuring that all obligations are tracked and fulfilled to minimize legal exposure.

- Collaborate with internal teams to provide actionable legal insights that support the successful closure of domestic and cross-border corporate deals.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing end-to-end M&A transactions and complex corporate restructuring projects with a high degree of precision.

- Proven ability to draft and negotiate intricate legal agreements, showing a keen eye for detail and a focus on risk mitigation.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to senior stakeholders and clients.

- Exceptional analytical capabilities to interpret evolving corporate laws and apply them to practical business scenarios.

- A degree in Law (LL.B. or LL.M.) from a premier institution, complemented by a solid track record of handling high-value corporate mandates.
