Role : Senior Associate / Associate - Legal (Financial Services Organisation)
Location : Gurgaon
Roles & Responsibility :
- Be an active and trusted business partner, and ensure the provision of timely business- focused advice to the Business Development, Technology, Liability Functions of the Organization.
- Draft and negotiate structured financing arrangements across asset based finance, leasing and securitization for deployment of funds raised through debt capital markets and private borrowings.
- Manage legal reviews, and advise on risk management in relation to innovative hedging and financing structures, new product development, how to best position/structure these products/features to reduce legal risk, including creating/ reviewing relevant T&Cs.
- Draft, review and negotiate standardized templates for day-to-day contracts entered with third parties and general procurement initiatives.
- Negotiate and deal with multiple stakeholders across different business lines, and legal teams.
- Coordination with external counsel on litigation related matters
Educational Qualification / Work Experience & Skills :
- Education: LL.B. or equivalent with 3-6 years of post-qualification experience in the corporate division of a law firm.
- Strong knowledge of corporate laws, M&A transactions, and commercial contracts.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks related to corporate transactions and financial structuring.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide practical business-oriented legal solutions.
