Job Description:
- Lead the strategy for social media, paid campaigns and content marketing across organisations.
- Create, schedule and publish high-quality content across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) including posts, stories, reels, videos and thought-leadership pieces.
- Plan and manage the content calendar and workflow for all digital entities.
- Benchmark our social landscape: conduct competitive and sector-trend analysis, identify best practices, map audience personas and refine our messaging accordingly.
- Track and report on performance metrics: follower growth, engagement rates, click-throughs, conversions, paid-campaign ROI; prepare insights and optimisation recommendations.
- Plan, execute and manage paid media campaigns (Google Ads, paid social) to drive traffic, lead generation (applications, partnerships, hires) and measurable outcomes.
- Monitor SEO (keyword research, website optimisation, content alignment) and ensure social channels support broader search-and-discovery goals.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, platform changes, new formats and storytelling innovations; pilot experiments and recommend new content directions.
- Oversee the organisations website: update content, monitor performance, coordinate with developers/designers, and align the website with social and digital campaigns.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Mass Media, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism or a related field.
- 2 5 years of experience in social media or digital marketing rolescovering both organic content and paid campaigns.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and tools.
- Experience using basic design/video tools (Canva) and analytics and reporting tools (Google Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics, Instagram Insights).
- Experience working in mission-driven or non-profit environments (or content-rich brands) will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator will be an advantage.
