
Description:
- Define and execute the India GTM strategy, with a roadmap to scale into international markets.
- Drive aggressive revenue growth through a mix of new client acquisition, key account expansion, and partnerships.
Identify and scale opportunities across:
- Crop intelligence (acreage, yield, monitoring).
- Agri insurance and risk analytics.
- Forestry and Agro Forestry value chain.
- Expand SatSures footprint across new geographies, crops, and use cases.
Build and manage CXO-level relationships across:
- Commodity traders, Input companies & agri corporates.
- Insurance companies and government stakeholders.
- Lead large, complex deal cycles including strategic accounts and multi-year engagements.
- Build and scale partnerships with Consulting firms, Agri ecosystem players, Multilaterals, government, and institutional stakeholders.
- Drive channel and alliance-led growth models.
- Work closely with product, data science, and delivery teams to shape solutions aligned to market needs.
- Influence product roadmap based on customer insights.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term value creation.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Agri Business team across sales, account management, and partnerships.
- Establish strong execution discipline, forecasting, and performance management systems.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 8 -12 years of experience in sales/business development, with strong exposure to: Agri / Agri-tech / Rural ecosystems.
- Proven track record of:
- Scaling a business or vertical.
- Managing large enterprise accounts and complex deals.
- Strong network across the agriculture value chain and financial institutions.
- Experience in solution-selling / SaaS / data-driven products is a strong advantage.
