Role: SAP HCM Payroll Consultant (Senior Manager Level)

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM Payroll Consultant to manage and support the existing SAP HCM (Human Capital Management) setup - specifically focusing on India Payroll. This is not a development or new implementation role, but a functional, back-end role where you will maintain and optimize existing payroll configurations and ensure smooth operations across all HR modules.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and support the existing SAP HCM Payroll system including pay structure, wage types, and employee master data.

- Handle configuration changes in payroll and statutory components (PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Income Tax).

- Ensure seamless payroll processing, reimbursements, and integration with Finance (FI) module.

- Work on payroll schema, PCRs, pay scale configuration, and related functional setups.

- Oversee off-cycle payroll, audits, and data validations.

- Support system rollouts or onboarding of new entities within the SAP ecosystem.

- Collaborate with internal HR and Finance teams for issue resolution and system improvements.

- Leverage advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP HCM Payroll (India) configuration and support.

- Strong understanding of statutory compliance and payroll calculations.

- Experience in payroll schema/PCRs, wage type configuration, and FI posting.

- Exposure to HR modules such as PA, OM, TM, and PY.

- SAP certification in HCM preferred.

- Knowledge of SuccessFactors or Darwinbox will be an added advantage.
