Job Description: SAP Commodity & Exposure Management Consultant (Contract)
Role: Senior SAP functional Consultant Exposure Management & Commodities
Experience: 8 - 10 Years
Duration: Contract (Project-Based)

Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned SAP Professional to lead the implementation and delivery of Exposure Management 2.0 with Commodities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of how logistics transactions (Purchasing and Sales) generate market risk and how to track that risk throughout the entire lifecyclefrom contract inception to final billing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exposure Lifecycle Management: Design and implement the end-to-end tracking of exposures starting from Contracts, Call-offs, Material Movements, and Billing/Invoicing.
- S/4HANA Standard Process: Implement the new standard exposure management process in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring seamless integration between Logistics and Treasury.
- Exposure Management 2.0: Configure and manage "Raw Exposures" and "Sub-Raw Exposures" derived from operative business transactions (POs, Sales Orders, etc.).
- Risk Consolidation: Define and set up "Exposure Positions" to provide a consolidated view of risk derived from multiple sub-raw exposures.
- Hedging & Accounting: Collaborate with the Treasury team to integrate with the Transaction Manager for mapping hedging transactions (Forwards, Options) and ensuring Hedge Accounting compliance.
- Analytics: Configure analytical tools for risk measurement, including Net Present Value (NPV) and Value at Risk (VaR) calculations for commodity positions.
Technical Skills & Qualifications:
- Primary Expertise: Extensive experience in SAP TRM (Treasury and Risk Management) and SAP Commodity Management (CM).
- Logistics Integration: Proven track record of integrating Exposure Management with SAP MM (Procurement) and SAP SD (Sales & Distribution).
- S/4HANA Specialist: In-depth knowledge of S/4HANA Finance and the specific "Exposure Management 2.0" framework.
- Commodity Pricing (CPE): Strong understanding of Commodity Pricing Engines and how price volatility impacts exposure.
- Experience Level: Minimum 810 years of SAP functional experience with at least 2 full-cycle implementations involving Commodity Risk or Exposure Management.
Preferred Attributes:
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex business risk into SAP technical configurations.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with business stakeholders in Finance and Procurement.
- Prior experience in industries heavily impacted by commodity fluctuations (e.g., Agriculture, Energy, Metals, or Manufacturing).
