Job Title: Assistant Vice President/Deputy Vice President - Cloud & Platform Operations

Location: Gurgaon, Haryana

Reporting To: Head - IT Infrastructure

Job Purpose:

The Deputy Vice President - Cloud & Platform Operations will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations and transformation of cloud and hybrid IT platforms, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the operations, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud and hybrid environments.

- Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of all platforms.

- Proactively identify and resolve operational issues.

- Plan and execute migration of on-premises workloads to cloud platforms.

- Define architecture and operational procedures for cloud services.

- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams for smooth migration and minimal downtime.

- Recommend and implement best practices for hybrid cloud and on-prem systems.

- Optimize cloud and platform performance, cost, and security.

- Support automation, DevOps, and modernization initiatives as required.

- Manage a team of cloud engineers, platform admins, and operational staff.

- Set clear operational goals, KPIs, and SLAs for the team.

- Drive process improvements and standardization across cloud operations.

- Implement cloud security controls, compliance standards, and operational policies.

- Conduct risk assessments and manage disaster recovery readiness.

- Maintain operational documentation, procedures, and reporting.

- Evaluate and implement cloud management tools for operational efficiency.

- Provide operational reports, metrics, and dashboards.

- Collaborate on cloud strategy, roadmap, and long-term platform planning.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI) and hybrid environments.

- Strong knowledge of on-premises infrastructure (VMware, storage, networking, servers).

- Experience in cloud migration projects and operational optimization.

- Knowledge of IT security, compliance, and risk management practices.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience & Qualifications:

- Minimum 10 years in IT infrastructure operations, with at least 5 years of hands-on cloud experience.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.

- Certification: Cloud Solution Architect (AWS/Azure/OCI) or equivalent.
