About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced sales manager to connect MSME borrowers with a wide network of banks and NBFCs. The role involves understanding borrower requirements, assessing credit eligibility, and matching them with the most suitable loan products ensuring faster approvals, better loan terms, and high customer satisfaction. This position combines sales and credit analysis, involving end-to-end ownership of the loan process from customer engagement to sanction and disbursement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with MSME borrowers to understand funding needs, business goals, and repayment capacity.
- Review credit scores, financial statements, and collateral details to evaluate loan eligibility.
- Recommend suitable bank or NBFC loan products, optimizing for rate, tenure, and amount.
- Coordinate with relationship managers, underwriters, and lenders for smooth loan processing.
- Act as a bridge between borrowers and lenders to resolve issues and ensure clear communication.
- Maintain accurate borrower records in CRM systems and provide insights for process
improvement.
- Build long-term borrower relationships through transparent, trust-based communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-5 years in banking or NBFCs in a similar role.
- Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of secured loan products, especially mortgages or
loan against property (LAP).
- Technical Skills: Ability to read financial statements and interpret credit reports (CIBIL, CRIF, etc.).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, persuasion, and analytical skills.
- Mindset: Customer-centric, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a tech-enabled, fast-paced
lending environment.
